MAKE SEAMAN EVOLVE FASTER
If you want your Seaman to evolve a lot faster, simply keep saving your game and exiting back to the system main menu. Then, adjust the date on your system and VMU, and start your game again. I recommend moving the date on your system forward at 2-3 day intervals, otherwise, you risk killing your Seaman. This helps your Seaman evolve a lot faster from the boring little babies to a cool, smartmouth Seaman.
HINTS
Getting started is not hard just follow the narrators directions in planting your Seaman egg(you must make sure before you begin to adjust the air and temperature in your tank,and check and adjust these each and every time you visit your Seaman).The egg will hatch and split into"8 Mushroomers"(it will take anywhere from 5 to 10 minutes).The next day zoom in to were the nautilus is lying and tap the glass,the nautilus will pop out slightly,and start to eat the Mushroomers,keep taping the glass the nautilus will move(do not become alarmed this is normal).It will consume about four of the Mushroomers.After about 5 minutes the nautilus will come out of the shell and spit out the Mushroomers that it ate and they will now have evolved into baby Seaman.(the nautilus will die after it has done this).You now will have 4 baby Seaman and 4 Mushroomers left in the tank(do not be alarmed the baby Seaman will feed off the remaining Mushroomers).Do not feed the babies they will at this point take care of themselves for food.
How do you talk to baby Seaman?Say"Talk English"or"speak English.their reply should be"You Americans think everyone speaks English,They do not really talk much at this point of their evolution(baby talk).
Hints:
DO NOT FEED BABIES!(if you did you will run out of food,only feed seaman when narrator tells you to).
Start over if you feed them(babies) trust me.
If you start over set your Dreamcast consoles date back 60 day's(this is how long it takes to complete game).
To get them to grow up to adult Seaman it will take about 15 to 20 day's.If you want them to grow quickly to adult Seaman this is how you do it.
Turn your Dreamcast off,open lid and change the consoles date(at settings it says date/time,highlight and change your console date 1 day at a time,then scroll down and change the date on your memory card)
After you change the date(or next day)turn it on and make sure you take care of their air and heat controls.(do not feed them)
Make sure to listen to what the narrator has to say.Soon you will see the baby Seaman start to die one by one until their are two left,do not be alarmed!,it is natural(supposed to happen).
Once you have two seaman left they will begin to grow.(remember do not feed them unless the narrator tells you to)
On or about day 20 the narrator will tell you there is a new tank to raise food for Seaman.
Hints:
Do not drop brown seeds in Seaman's tank.
To start food tank use the left trigger to toggle to That screen where tank is,then use your joypad to spray moisture in food tank(done same way as care in Seaman tank).You need to keep moisture as high as you can keep it(blue level as near as 100% as you can keep it)
After a day or so mosquitoes will grow.( pick up and drop brown seeds in food tank when you see them,every few day's new ones will fall from plants practice picking them up and dropping them this will help in your growth of mosquitoes.They will start to grow in tank.(keep that spray level up) they will be used to feed Seaman in the future when you run out of food pellets.
CAUTION*****NEVER FEED SEAMAN SPIDERS IT CAN MAKE HIM SICK OR EVEN KILL HIM!
You can move mosquitoes from your food tank to Seaman's tank the same way as you pick up food pellets from the blue screen.
Remember once Seaman gets to a certain age you will feed him regularly(use all the food pellets up first).To feed Seaman make sure the narrator told you to,or he complains so much it almost drives you crazy then feed him.
HINTS:
To get him to talk,tap the glass,and say "speak to me","Talk to me".every once in a while he will not want to talk,so you can pluck him but only once or he will get mad and not speak to you.Try picking him up every once in a while but only once a visit or again he will get mad at you and not speak.just because he may tell you he will talk tomorrow do's not always mean that he will not talk today,if you get tired of his insolence go to next day.(go back and forth to other tank and make sure that the moisture in other tank is in the high blue zone).
Once you have two grown Seaman and have them talking he will ask you questions about yourself(if you lie to him remember what you say or you will piss him off).
Around the 22nd day the narrator will tell you they are about to mate.Once they mate one of the Seaman will die.The narrator will tell you when it is time for Seaman to lay his eggs(there will be 6 of them).A couple of day's before Seaman lay's his eggs,try to move the large rock in the tank(you will need Seaman's help but you first must get his attention by trying to move the rock yourself).Once Seaman helps it will take 4 try's for you and Seaman to move the large rock.Seaman will complain and tell you his back hurts every time he attempts to help you.It will take at least 2 day's to complete this task.(When the rock is finally moved most of the water will empty out of the tank.Only the right corner of tank will have water left in it)
Hints:
To move rock Seaman will asks you each time a new riddle you must answer before he will help you to move the rock.
The riddles are as follows.
QUESTION:If you can type 60 words a minute for 8 hours a day for 7 months what will you have?
ANSWER:Carpeltunnelvision(sore fingers).
QUESTION:How many lives doe's a cat have?
ANSWER:1 life
QUESTION:In a white room if you turn on a blue lamp and a yellow lamp what color are the walls?
ANSWER:White
QUESTION:If you take a cat and put him into a fish bowl what will you get?
ANSWER:A catfish.or a wet cat
QUESTION:How many tentacles does an octopus have?
ANSWER:8
(There will be other riddles if you make a mistake)
Once the rock is moved(you will no longer need to control air quality any longer) it will take Seaman 1 day before he lays his eggs,in the mean time Seaman will ask you questions about you and mankind.Remember once Seaman has given birth he will die(also the temperature in tank will need to be set at a hotter level)
CAUTION:YOU MUST TURN YOUR GAMESHARK CODES OFF AT THIS STAGE OF THE GAME.
.The new babies now referred to as tadpoles will swim into the water.(remember again not to feed the tadpoles till the narrator tells you to(or until they grow and complain for food)
The tadpoles will feed on other tadpoles until there are only two left in their tank(at this point they will be refereed as Tadman) Your Tadman will have more of a attitude problem then the other Seaman did,they will also act more intelligent in their questions and answers(they are evolving).You will have more of a problem to get them to speak,so do not be surprised when this happens to you(believe me you will get pissed at them).They will soon start to evolve until they become Frogman.Once they become Frogman they will now tell you story's from were they came from,and ask you more questions(and you think they pissed you off before).
After about ten day's they will mate and be ready to leave the tank(can't remember how long it takes because they were pissing me off with their indifferent attitude towards me).They will use the large rock to jump out of tank and will ask you for your help.This process will take a few day's only because they have become little Bas****ds towards you.
Once they have left the tank you will see a jungle backdrop.Tap the glass and do not stop taping, music will begin to play and they will do a dance and the credits will roll by(stop taping the glass and the music and credits will turn off and the Frogman will not dance any longer).You can go back at any time because they do not need you to take care of them any longer, they will not talk much but they will talk a little.The game has ended but you may still visit your Frogmen.
