VARIOUS CHEATS
At the title screen press Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Left, Right, Right. If the code is entered correctly a laugh and "Outstanding" will be spoken. Now hold L + R to bring up the cheat menu for the following options
Fatal 1 (HP) - At the finish him screen press HP to do fatality 1
Fatal 2 (LP) - At the finish him screen press LP to do fatality 2
Pit Fatal (D + HP) - At the finish him screen press Down + HP to do pit fatality
Easy Endings - Just fight 1 round to see the character's ending
Danger - Gives 1 hit deaths
EXTRA FATALITY
If you enter the 1 hit fatality code you can do this.When the fatality screen appears, right away quickly press forward+high punch and your person will do a different fatality.
ALTERNATIVE COSTUMES
Press Start and any button to rotate the select screen pictures two times to enable each character's second costume, except for Sonya and Tanya. The select screen pictures must be rotated three times for those characters.
FIGHT AS MEAT
Enter "Group Mode" and successfully complete the game with all sixteen characters. After this has been accomplished, select any character and begin a match. Your character will playing as Meat with all the moves of the character that was selected.
GET GORO
Highlight "HIDDEN" at the bottom of the character selection screen & press "L" trigger & "R" trigger. Continue to hold these buttons press Up, left, A.

Supet Kick- B,B,HK
Fireball- F,B,HP
Tele-Stomp- F,F,B,HK
Super Uppercut- D,D,HP

GET SEKTOR
Highlight "HIDDEN" at the bottom of the character selection screen & press "L" trigger & "R" trigger. Continue to hold these buttons & press Up,Up, Up, Up, Left, Left, Left, Left, A.

Air Throw- Hit block when you and your opponet are side-by-side in the air.
GORO GLITCH
To get a strange goro play a one player game and get to goro. Make him win so that you have to continue. Then when you choose a new character put in the goro code and play as him. You should have a really screwed up person labled goro. His head is shinocks, his left hand is the thing that shinock wears around his neck. His left foot is someones upper body and head. And some of his limbs are not connected.
SINGLE PLAYER STAGE SELECT
Enter the "Practice" menu and select the stage that appears prior to the desired stage that you wish to start at. Start a practice mode match, then immediately quit. Start a single player game to begin at the desired stage.
VIEW BIOGRAPHIES
Enter "Kombat Theatre" mode, highlight the desired character, and press L + R
COMBO'S:
Sektor:HP,HP,HK,Down+HP,Jugle your opponent with 2 standing high punches,teleport,Jumping high kick.10HITS 41%Damage
Goro:Jump at your opponent with 2 standing high punch,HP,HP,HK,Down+HP,Run forward and peform 2 standing high punches,Firball.

Noob Saibot:HP,HP,HK,HK,Draw Weapon.

ONE BUTTON FATALITY
When the Mortal Kombat Gold shows up dont press start do this up,up,down,down,left,left,right,right and you will hear a laughing sound and word like outstanding if done correctly press start then in the main screen press the two top buttons in the same time a cheat box will appear and turn all of them on.Then play regular like you always play then when it says finish him/her press either x or a but not to close...
SPIKE SLIDE
After you do the fatality, when you uppercut someone into the spikes,quick press down on both controllers and he/she will fall off!
UN-MASKED CYRAX
First beat the game with cryax then highlight cryax then start + block once then you'll see cryax without his mask on
TURN ON FATALITIES
1. Start a 2 player game.
2. At the Kombat Kode screen enter th kode 302 213
3. After the match starts, quit the game and go back to the "option" screen.
4. Highlight "versus screen enabled" & hold "L1" & "R1" for 10 seconds!! The menu will apear to turn all fatality's on!
CHANGE FIGHTING ORDER IN ARCADE MODE
After picking a fighter in arcade modedon't press A but instead press Start to rotate order of fighters
